Exclusive shawl made from the softest and purest cashmere from Ladakh . Changra goats live on the Changtang , a high-altitude plateau that begins in Tibet and ends in the Indian Himalayas. They are herded by the nomadic Changpas (see more in our Travel Journal). The goats are combed in the spring and only 30% of the undercoat is removed, which is called pashm. The textile made from this is called pashmina. It is very light and has great insulation against the cold, since the goats are adapted to living at altitudes of over 4500m.

Our ombré shawls are hand-dyed in unusual color combinations. A high-quality product, made in the best hand-weaving traditions but with a contemporary touch for modern, colorful looks.
