Caring for your Pashmina PashmaTouch

PashmaTouch pashminas are made from fine, delicate fabrics that require special care to maintain their quality, softness and durability. Follow our recommendations to ensure that your piece remains beautiful for a long time.

1. Washing

  • Wash your pashmina by hand , preferably in cold or lukewarm water (never hot).
  • Use a neutral soap or one specifically designed for delicate fabrics. Avoid using fabric softeners and harsh products.
  • Leave the piece to soak for a few minutes and wash gently, without rubbing hard.
  • To remove excess water, gently squeeze the pashmina with your hands. Do not twist the garment to avoid deformation.

2. Drying

  • After washing, wrap the pashmina in a clean towel to absorb moisture.
  • Lay the garment out on a flat surface in the shade to dry. Avoid hanging it, as this may deform the fabric.
  • Do not expose the pashmina to direct sunlight as this may fade the color.

3. Storage

  • Store your pashmina in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
  • If possible, use cotton or TNT bags to store it, allowing the fabric to breathe.
  • Avoid folding the pashmina in places that could leave permanent marks. If there is room, roll it up slightly.

4. Ironing

  • If necessary, iron the pashmina using the lowest temperature setting and, preferably, with a cloth between the iron and the fabric.
  • Avoid direct contact of the iron with the pashmina, especially on fabrics such as silk or cashmere, which are more sensitive to heat.

5. Protection against damage

  • Avoid contact between the pashmina and sharp objects or rough surfaces that could pull the threads or damage the fabric.
  • Perfumes, creams, and chemicals can stain or damage the garment. Apply these products to your skin before putting on your pashmina and wait a few minutes to ensure they are dry.

By following these tips, your pashmina will maintain its original softness, elegance and beauty, providing maximum comfort and style for a long time.
